Why does it have Fuchs up front and Minilites(?) at the back? looks weird. That apart, it looks sorted!
I had the pleasure of spending some time with some true old Porsche experts at RRIV and at one point the conversation turned toward Fuch wheels from the early 70's. According to the person I was speaking to, the widest Fuch wheels made until 1972 was 7". If you wanted anything wider, you had to go with a different brand, most typically Minilites. When people started doing wider and wider rear flares on race prepped 911's from 1972 and earlier (like on the 911 ST as mentioned earlier in this thread) and wanted rear wheels wider than 7" (typically 8" or 9") they used fuchs on the front and minilites on the rear, giving it the now iconic, "period correct" look found on pre 73' 911's with rear flares.
That all changed in 73' when Fuch made 8" wide rears for the 73' RS and 11" wide rears for the 73' RSR.
