I don't have a dog in this fight - have never even met the owner - but people should remember there are always two sides to every story, especially in situations like this.
Just because one angle of the story has been published doesn't increase its credibility. Jalopnik's style of journalism isn't the type I typically look to for facts - quite the contrary really.

Sometimes on the track, situations happen in which no one has control over... I'm just glad I'm not reading headlines that say "Today a fatal Macca..." blah blah.
