I honestly hate no 911, I carry a heavy dislike for turbo charged cars. Well except my 993



Turbo plus 99% drivers plus track = Disaster

 

The only thing that surprises me is the UK price compared to the US. OUCH

I'd love to buy a second-hand GT2 RS some day. I really love that car... Of course, a second-hand Scuderia is also calling my name.

 

I just returned from a visit to Weissach where I got a hot-lap taxi ride for a few laps with Romain Dumas at the wheel in an RS 4.0. What an exquisitely tossable car! He was able to do anything he wanted by playing with the steering, throttle, brakes, whatever. The hand-brake turn was a highlight! The car seemed to be a modern, more capable, faster, and funner version of my old '74 IROC 911 RS. How I miss that car and how I look forward to my RS 4.0 in the fall!

We haven't have a collectible car from Porsche since the 993 Turbo S. Those golden days are over. Best is don't buy it if you don't drive it.
