At first glance you might be thinking this is just another prototype of the new Range Rover wearing the heavy camouflage used in the early days of testing, but you’d be wrong. What you are looking at is actually the very first images of the all new Range Rover Sport.
When comparing the two cars (current model and this new test mule), you will notice car pictured here has completely different headlights and tail-lamps. The new sport will also feature a much lower profile with lower side windows, and a flatter rear window than the standard Rangie.
Different from today’s Sport which is based on the Discovery’s chassis, the new model will share underpinnings with the still-not-on-the-market new Range Rover and will also make use of its engines: two petrol V8 units with 375 and 510 hp plus one diesel-V8 delivering 313 hp.
