"More 911 Variants to come."

Hey Porsche, shouldn't you F***ing be concerned with making an exceptionally good quality product (better than your competitors like McLaren) and relaying that information to your customer base?
I would never in a million years try and sell my product to a customer by selling them to the fact that I will make more money off of them than anyone else; and mention nothing as to why my product is better - only that I am going to offer you more choices in a market already overwhelmed by choices.
Add to that, that I (that being Porsche) am now chasing sales numbers, and considering manufacturing in China! Great. Good for me. Bad for my customer, who wants something better and not more of the same "Hey, we make cars! We have a model to fit everyone!"
I guess if you want to make more money, and me get a lower quality product in return, while you brag about market share & sales numbers...so be it. I'll shop elsewhere.

Zeus, I'm with you. Business is business...but...you don't need to directly tell your customer that your agenda doesn't revolve around the quality of product they recieve. Every business does the same thing--they just generally have enough sense to NOT publicize it...to their customer base... Just my two cents...and that's why I own a Porsche vehicle...and not run the whole Porsche company...
