You Need This Gorgeous Ferrari 550 Barchetta In Your Life
Barchetta. In Italian, it refers to an open-top sports car. In this instance, it refers to the gorgeous Ferrari 550. This model came at an interesting shift in Ferrari’s history, with a return to front-engine GT cars (bearing in mind the 456 was a 2+2). With body lines penciled by renown designer Pininfarina, the 550 Barchetta was made to be reminiscent of Ferrari’s past open-top sports cars, while still keeping a unique personality and style of its own. There’s no doubt they accomplished what they set out to do. Open-air motoring with a V12 engine up front, and power sent to the rear wheels via a gated 6-speed manual transmission; the recipe for pleasure doesn’t get much better than that.
This particular 550 Barchetta is a time traveler. Having covered just 1,875 miles, it is being offered by Canepa in excellent condition with up-to-date maintenance.
