“So much in common, we even share initials. But we had our fling. I remember when you came forth in Wraith form, God, the time just goes. This time it’s Ghost. I wax lyrical about you every time I spoke, so this time it’s prose, rhymes and flows, to convey my feelings about a ride this dope.”

Starting posts with a quote is usually a copout, but when it’s that good, it’d be a crime to bury it down low. The words above are those of Rory Reid, who was recently announced as a Top Gear host beside Matt LeBlanc, Chris Evans, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris, and Eddie Jordan. Reid is the only person to be hired from public auditions, but he’s been dealing with and reviewing cars for some time. His most recent work comes from CNET UK, Sky 1, and a popular YouTube show (Fast, Furious, and Funny). He’s also the editor-in-chief of Recombu, which is where the video below comes from.

Recombu focuses on car review videos, and there are a ton of normally-styled videos, like the one he did for the Bentley Continental GT Speed. But Reid took a different route for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. It’s much more … artistic. Just listen to see what we mean:

In all seriousness, this is actually pretty dope. Spoken word is a beautiful art form, and being able to tell a story and review a car through that is pretty damn impressive. Right?
