Any 80's fans?

I'm definitely an '80s guy, especially when it comes to music. I love Bryan Adams, all the hair metal bands, and the new wave stuff. Being a guitar player, I can't imagine anyone NOT wanting to play rippin' guitar solos like they did in those days!

Let's hear you, 80's fans!

I like Metallica a lot motley cruel was cooler than their music was but I'd say I was a fan.

TTM0TION 04-02-2011 05:57 PM

Crue sorry can't edit from phone

AxerJk 04-02-2011 06:10 PM

Haha no problem. I love those bands too. I read the book "The Dirt" about Motley Crue, INSANE!

It's still all I listen to for the most part. I have pretty much all of it from pop to metal. There's just no substitute for the quality of the music. Most everything today is just terrible by comparison.

h20skier 04-26-2011 05:13 PM

80's for sure

ptrans 04-26-2011 05:33 PM

Can't beat the 80's, or opening drum solos that sound like a Funny Car!

Awesome!! Thank god people finally found this thread!

I love XM radio too, I had it on the hair metal station a lot because it introduced me to a lot of great songs that I was previously unfamiliar with.

I couldn't agree more. Music almost seems like a thing of the past these days. That's an exaggeration, but it feels like that at times.

My friend Todd Krause who is a master builder at the fender custom shop made me a few custom shops as he did for Richie hooked this up for me. Richie is super cool met him a bunch of times, greta guy. Todd actually sent him the neck while he was building it knowing it would arrive to me around my birthday for him to sign, it was an awesome surprise!

I love Van Halen songs. Songs were so much better when it's about partying and having a good time, instead of slapping women around haha.

I am a big Van Halen fan! Such great songwriters, and Eddie started a whole new generation of guitar players that should have had more staying power than it did.
