Pagani Zonda 750 One-off New one-off model made for a customer (Probably Arab), called Pagani Zonda 750! It is mainly based on the Cinque but it has a lot of custom parts such as the back window... What do you think of the colour and generally the car? I like it in a way but i really want it to be one of the last Zonda one-off models as Pagani is overdoing it a little bit (UNO, PS...) http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6...nda7500043.jpg http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/3545/zonda750003.jpg http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/8428/zonda750001.jpg |
Well its good business for Mr Horacio, since its a private owned small business he has to supply his clientel with bespoke car unlike Ferrari which is a large company owned by Fiat(lots of $) can build cars regardless of the market climate. We've just come out of recession, so whatever he is doing is working and I hope it grows even better. There isnt a car like the Zonda, maybe Spyker(slower same bespoke level) or Konnegsegg(faster no manual gearbox). I like Zonda, has the F1 whailing sound is a delicate brand in a mainstream supercar market. |
So Pagani is also milking every penny possible from the Zonda before C9 is launched. I must say this car is really amazing, I am not a fan of the color, but the details are simply amazing. I was told that Pagani started to offer C9 to the customers and showing them the final design and specs of C9. And the demand for Zonda is only growing, strange sign, isn't it? If I would be in the market I would prefer Zonda with its amazing design and fabulous V12 NA engine to the strange gullwing'ed C9 with heavy V12 TT. With all that said we will be able to compare both of them soon enough. The presentation of C9 will take place at Geneva and I guess we will see more one-off Zondas later. Anyway, its great that Horacio is building such cars, as Mo said there are so few makers having balls to create such masterpieces. |

C9 I am going to like it simply because I like gullwing doors and its a nice mercedes tribute to the engine, I think its fitting to a supercar rather than using scissor doors which are very lamborghini and ricey at the same time. Also with every Pagani you get the seats are tailored to your height and its so bespoke you get maching shoes to the cars interior. that back looks incredible. all i gotta say is keep it coming horacio. |
Got your idea Mo, good points actually. I was in love with Zonda since I saw C12 in flesh years ago. My love just got bigger when F version were launched and I agree Tricolore looks absolutely stunning, I got to seat in this car last Geneva and it was an absolute masterpiece. I am not a big fan of white Cinques, but that Bahraini Yellow Cinque Roadster looks like perfection also, color suits the car so well. Zonda HH, Zonda Uno and this Zonda 750 are both stunning, may be colors are not for everyone, but I just love how Pagani creates those one-offs, not just few changes and new name, but a real one-off, its just stunning. I am reserving the final judgement about C9 till I will see the car next Geneva. I am with you on Gullwing doors, I just love SLS for that, but they are not working for me on C9, at least on prototypes we all have seen. Same with the engine, I don't want to say anything before official specs, but I am in doubts. Without that spectacular design and aura which makes Zonda a stand out from the crowd, just exclusivity will not be enough. Again, its hard to imagine how happy I will be if I am wrong and C9 will really be spectacular in all dimensions. |

Minus the purple this car is awesome, wait tomorrow i'll gain the euromillion €138k lottery and the zonda TT 1000 will comme true :p, mixing subtle variances of pearl grey and pearl white over silver carbon (ala koenigsegg trevita).... going to bed now :p |
who has more variants, the zonda or the 997? |

Can't wait for the pagani with a gay flag on it! |
Despite being purple, this Zonda 750 ticks all the boxes and presses all the right buttons for me. I love the F1-style fin that runs from the air vent over to roof all the way back to the rear wing. |

You mean the Zonda Tuuna Edition??? Or would that be the Zonda Jox? |
i liked the HH better. |
Stunning! If this was painted in Monterey Blue (Like the HH) this imo would be the perfect Zonda. If I was currently a multi-millionaire I would no doubt buy a custom Zonda before anything else. It is very sad that the current Zonda has to be upgraded :( |
Is Pagani still currently producing the Zonda apart from these special one-offs? |
It's a stunner.......... |
I'm actually in love with this car.... color and everything. |

Some facts coming - yes the car gets 750 hp Zonda R engine and the owner is from GCC. My respect to him, thats all I can say. |

Recieved such info from my contact. I am in doubts myself, because R is pure track engine, but on the other hand its hard to imagine the way they going to squeeze out 750 hp from F V12 given the fact the engine is NA. I guess we need to wait for official details, at this point everything is pretty much sort of speculation. |
To get the F engine to 750hp would be difficult. It is at its limit of longevity and maintenance at its current peek of 680hp. 750hp would require new pistons, camshafts, lifters and probably a new intake system. Then you also have to develop a new ECU map. These parts would all have to be custom made therefore extremely expensive as you would also have to factor in development costs. Mercedes do not currently have these parts on the shelf |
Love the colour but, yet another Zonda. I love the Zonda but stop turning it into a cash cow and crack on with the C9. |

I dont know how we havent still seen a one-off RRR Zonda... Anyways the zonda has written history in the supercar world so Pagani is pulling the rope and extending its life a little bit with these "one-offs" which are also a great source of money for them |

If I was a gazillionaire, I'd be getting a special "one off" (maybe they mean "one of many" LOL) Zonda. ALL the details are smack on for this one. Cept maybe the color, then again, who's gonna forget it?? Love the Tricolore and Uno. Now this 750!!! I absolutely love it. |

im thing Purple Chrome with black matt |
Can you tell us what engine was supposed to be in the car? I would be thrilled if someone else was taking this order, so that the car can be built anyway. |
i dont know if somebody will order this car with this color , this car is based in a cinque they want to make it the last Limited Edition of Zonda it is between Cinque and Zonda R They will make 5 cars . Zonda Production will Continue , but they will make a new model of Zonda in Future Because the Zonda is more Track use car , and the C9 will be more entertainment car and it will be faster then the zonda just in the straight line I Saw the new Pagani C9 and it will have very very similar front bumper then the ferrari design http://www.roadandtrack.com/var/ezfl...errari-f70.jpg |

Not sold on the color, but like the other Zondas, it is just plain badass. I just want to see one in person. That alone would make me happy. |
