I don't watch spanish theatre but from what I've seen in the past I don't understand how it can be a competition? Messi any day of the week.

It's simple, which team suffers the most when each player isn't playing.

As incredible as Cr7 is, I think RM is stacked to the brim with finishers. As you can tell from the top goal scorers in La Liga. Xavi is incredible and has eyes in the back of his head and his contribution to Messi's success is undeniable. But in the end, Messi finishes and creates like no other, which is why he's so vital to Barca's success.
