Last week Francisco Liriano pitches a no-hitter.

Now - today - Justin Verlander replicates the feat.

We are once again seeing the year of the pitcher in MLB.

Heading out in about 30 minutes to see the Jered Weaver win his MLB leading 7th game for the Angels!

I miss my Expos...:( lol

I'm heading to a Cubs-Marlins game in a little over a week and going to a few games in San Diego in July. Can't wait. I look forward to my baseball trips every year.

very nice. i went to one game earlier this yr against san diego and due to limited income right and the fact i leave for basic training june 1st i can only go to one more game. sounds like you have great trips coming up

Ha Ha! Weaver struggled in the 5th. Pronk hasn't done much.

I go somewhere new every year. After these 2 trips I will have been to 24 out of 30 home parks. Still haven't made it to Anaheim to see Dana's Angels though.

What parks have you not visited. Missed opening day this year due to school, that was a tough day.

After these 2 trips I will be missing Seattle, Anaheim, KC, Toronto, NY Mets, and Tampa. Planning on doing KC next year for a game and then stay for the All-Star game which I have never been to.

Sweet!! I will definitely take you up on that if I make it out that way. I was trying to plan on driving up there when we go to San Diego, but I don't think the schedule works out.

Best part is that I mostly do this with my dad. We have been going on a yearly baseball trip for as long as I can remember.

I have been to Dodger Stadium and Comerica Park. Not that impressive.

Good game tonight between the Angels and Indians.

Angels lose close one 4-3.

There is a moment before every game between the National Anthem and the start of the game when not a sole is on the field. It is serene and almost a religious experience.

I hate all things Yankees, but I don't mind Jeter. It stops there. I once even wore a Red Sox hat and my "I hate the Yankees" shirt to Yankess home spring training game. The guy at one of the concession stands refused to serve me. :lol:

I'm going to my first Angels game tonight. I grew up in LA rooting for the Doyers so I'm feeling a bit like a traitor.
