People who are close to the situation and know what's going on are not going to throw Vik under the bus or make asinine statements about him and pass them off as "fact".
The only important fact at this point is that Audi is not ready to let the source of 10+% of their worldwide Lamborghini sales close its doors permanently.

I have said all I will say, it is no ones business but Vik's. I am sure he/OC Lambo will be back.

I believe it is true. Before Audi bought Lamborghini, Vik (OC Lambo owner) ran all of Lamborghini North America (I believe).

I don't believe the Santa Monica location will be a dealer, I thought it was just going to be there corporate HQ. The OC dealer will be back.

I don't think there was much of a Lamborghini of North America. I think that is a fairly new thing which came about in the last year or so. Officially anyway.

I agree, my point was more demonstrating that there is an underlying relationship and history there beside just owning a dealership.
