This Deserves Its Own Thread - What 9/1000s Looks Like At F1 Speed

Rangieboy17 already posted this in the Korean GP Banter thread but I felt it needed its own thread for all to see.

When I saw this split screen analysis during the live BBC broadcast, I could not believe my eyes.

How did Vettel steal that pole position from Button who lead all but the final chicane!?

This is a must see for anyone even remotely interested in motor sports and underscores the supremacy of Formula 1.

Amazing example of how a different line can save so much time.

Damn that was crazy to watch, never thought the gear shifts would be so identical. Must spread rep.

Redlinerobert 10-13-2011 03:35 PM

I have a hard time imagining going that fast.

smy266 10-13-2011 05:20 PM

Vettel is definitely the king of qualifying.

This is also why many don't like F1. Too close in my book. Amazing speeds oh ya. Just a touch boring to watch.
