Isn't This A Pretty Rare Spot??

Today I saw this car driving down the road. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic:

Wasn't the 2008 RS4 Cab a very limited production run car?

Yeah, Audi couldn't sell to many of them (maybe 300-ish in the US, I think) because they were astronomically expensive compared to the sedan at close to $80K, iirc.

Pretty cool to see one even though it looks 99% identical to the S4 Cabrio.

I prefer the 4door, it looks much proportioned in the rear.

True they sold around 300 and fully loaded they reached up to 85K

To the untrained eye, yes but the cab still has wide fenders just like the sedan.

That and the car is a rolling identity crisis.

"Hey everyone we built about the rawest car we could that can handle any condition and then did you all a favor by cutting the roof off and making it even heavier...you know, for all those 75 degree days when you need to blast up to the ski resort."

I've always had a thing for the RS4 vert, not sure why because I agree with Amir but still would love one as a DD...

Pretty cool, I've only ever seen one and it was last year at the Sebring 12 Hours race.

I rarely see those cars at all, much less the convertible version.

I didn't even know they made an RS4 Cab... Cool, but its purpose is questionable.
