Could this be the ultimate real-world superbike? Producing a claimed 167bhp, it’s more powerful than its closest super naked rivals, like the Ducati Streetfighter, KTM 990 Super Duke and Triumph Speed Triple. It’s a serious weapon on the track thanks to its balanced chassis, strong brakes, powerful engine, quickshifter, traction control and anti-wheelie. On the road it’s loads of fun when you turn the anti-wheelie off and setting the traction control high to deal with the unexpected, is a useful safety feature. You can be the first away from the traffic light GP too, if you use the electronic launch control. We don't have them in the states yet. I'm sure it's a great bike since it shares so much with the RSV4. |
I always wanted one of the old ones as a huge fan of naked sportbikes with the ergos of a standard. 160hp, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, sounds like the recipe for the perfect streetbike. |

The bike is light at 183kg which to me makes power to weight ratio is ridicules (0.914hp/Kg). The different maps (Street/Race/Track) are great to have and characteristics are very noticeable between them. After installing the new pipes and CPU upgrade all three settings are slightly modified with about 7-10 hps extra to play with… Attachment 161683 Seating is great but I think I will raise the handlebar a little… I am over 180cm and feel for a naked my riding position is a little on the aggressive side Attachment 161684 |
