BTW, the SES lights plaguing your E39 M5 has largely been solved through the collective knowledge of the m5board.com. If you were to get one today, they are pretty simple to keep running really well.

The e28 M5 is such a classic, that one looks like a great example, don't think about it... just do it!

isn't that "ze new facelift" a 7? and by extension, no way an m? i miss the comparison.
i digress, that e28 is clean as heck, but i can't imagine picking it up as a DD.
