Oh boy. Oh no. Uh-oh

:beingsick: :beingsick: :beingsick: :beingsick:

Zorro 09-15-2008 11:22 PM

I like it ... very pseudo-GTR JDM import style yo.

Bronto 09-16-2008 12:14 AM

Hahahahahaha   that was too much for me!

duc749r 09-16-2008 12:29 AM

Jesus......... give the wing back to the honda crew

LAZY TURBO 09-16-2008 01:51 AM

i think i just went blind

yohanthestud 09-16-2008 02:10 AM

downforce anyone?

SAB 09-16-2008 02:47 AM

I want to arrange chips and dip on the wing.

strebo 09-16-2008 02:53 AM

Why, oh why?

Mike S 09-16-2008 03:16 AM

I think this person is turning his M3 into a track toy. If that were the case I wouldn't really care about aesthetics over function.

Alex 09-16-2008 03:39 AM

Thanks for your optimism, Mike. :respekt: I sure hope you are right.

Ag Surfer 09-16-2008 04:56 AM

If he tracks it, he might need the downforce. I agree, it looks like crap though.

Luis 09-16-2008 09:26 AM

Take the ricer wheels and ricer wing off of it and it would be an OK track toy.

Or, leave all that on there and add a "GOT RICE" vanity license plate. :spar:

That car was ruined when they began assembling it at the BMW factory.

Shame what BMW cars have turned into.

Nah, the new M3 is a really nice auto but I do admit the looks of the E46 CSL blows it away

I am sure the car drives great, but BMW hasn't introduced a good looking car since the e46 M3 (and even that was a step down from the e36 and e39, relatively of course).

I have put about 10k miles on an e60 M5, and the performance and handling are great, but the transmission in automatic mode is the worst I have ever used. The car is always shifting at the wrong time. I also think idrive is the most ass backwards system ever created for a car, takes twice as long to do anything and you spend too much time with your eyes off the road trying to change things.

I used to be a huge BMW fan, but their entire lineup now a days is ugly as sin (exterior and interior).

Mr Kram 09-16-2008 12:08 PM

lose the wing, tow hooks and decals and i think it looks pretty good. rays, works and other japanese wheels are getting popular among the euro crowd.

Delius 09-16-2008 12:50 PM

I love fusion foods but, RICE and STRUDAL??

Looking at pick 1 - where the rear seats would be, the car looks pretty stripped out. With the brake upgrades, sponsors vinyls - certainly sure this is a track toy and nothing more. Doubt it will ever drive much on public roads.

I dunno, to me it looks a little too JDM and not enough DTM

86blackwidow 09-16-2008 11:30 PM

Um ricerlicious.

agreed, check the brembo GTRs. I would have picked some bbs kicks, but to each its own since its probly gonna see serious track time...and im happy to volunteer to be the test pilot :yup:

TiSiBeast 09-17-2008 12:29 AM

I agree - love those brakes! Volks are nice and light too, save that unsprung weight. I'd lose the stickers and GIANT friggin wing though.

NotSoMiniC 09-17-2008 12:44 AM

Wow I love that car

NOT
:beingsick::beingsick::beingsick:

eshaun 09-17-2008 12:45 AM

that giant friggin wing will keep the ass planted above 140, ask me how I know ;)

Acceptable excuse for the CSL bootlid im sure, but for now the rear diffuser will have to suffice lol

iLLGT2 09-17-2008 01:24 AM

I think it's terrible, but I guarantee it made a huge difference on the track!

JonA85 09-17-2008 11:11 AM

SLC4S 09-17-2008 08:46 PM

brakes are sick... wheels are functional, execution of design is flawed on so many levels...

setiono 09-18-2008 07:08 PM

i actually quite like it. the wing is there for a purpose. not for the looks obviously.

pixxflix 09-18-2008 11:48 PM

everything besides the wing looks good!

cerberus 09-19-2008 05:28 AM

der Fast und Furious, Deutsch edition

j.a.cadet 09-22-2008 07:47 PM

This car for the track to do time attack runs, nothing else, so do looks really matter?

Speedware 09-23-2008 03:05 PM

EHH I'm going to have to say I kinda like it! The wing is a little over kill but still doesnt ruin it for me

Of course not. But people here don't care..

SuperVixen 09-23-2008 06:18 PM

Rice rocket version.

alkyoneus 09-23-2008 07:59 PM

he better clock 40+ hours on the track a month if he did all that.

Alex 09-23-2008 08:20 PM

MiniD, what are you saying? :spar:

Wow, needs a good clubbing

M3-2NV 09-24-2008 01:27 AM

Too much wing for me!

The car looks like shit, the wheels and the wing in the back. It is hard to justify buying new wheels when the 19" option for the M3 looks sick. When I first saw them, I was in love with the new M3. I am not as big a fan on the body as the old, but the drive is what sold me. The new Tranny is unbelievable, and to those of you who feel BMW has lost the edge, things are only getting better. I didn't like the E-46 at first, but then it grew on me. The functionality of the New M3 is awesome! Your still gonna see people putting Chrome wheels on this one as well........LOL. At least the wing has some functionality, maybe even the wheels, if the weight loss is there~!:spar:
