Supplements - What do you take?

What supplements do you take? I just changed preworkout from jack3d to Craze/Hemavol stack and don't think I will be looking back any time soon.

GLN 05-08-2012 10:45 AM

Currently more or less my stack.

Brobbins016 05-08-2012 11:14 AM

A multi vitamin, occasionally a rantidine if I have an upset stomach. Starting Geritol soon.

SoCal 05-08-2012 11:48 AM

GNC Joint vita-pak (fish oil, multi, etc.), Kre-Alkalyn, OxyElite, and Lean Pro Matrix protein. And a SHITLOAD of water.

Funny story, Viagra was designed to be a hemodilator (like NO2) to aid people with heart conditions, then they figured out it was better for d00dz who couldn't get it up.

I take ACG3 pre workout, ON Whey after and then ON Casein at night. That's it.

When I need to cut down I usually throw in OxyElite. They just released a really interesting study on that actually, good stuff.

Have actually had a few people stop me recently and mention that I have put on some decent size which I thought was cool, guess the new program is working...

a close look in the mirror

Still Lost 05-21-2012 11:17 AM

any suggestions for a recovery protein and a good daily multivitamin?

Recovery protein for post crossfit workouts 3-5x's week. Is the GNC brand fine for this?

Vitamin because I probably should and I feel like I need something to help boost my energy level a little bit.

yzracer931 05-21-2012 12:27 PM

I stopped buying protein from GNC etc. I buy pure protein powder from True Nutrition and make my own shakes. Usually consist of: Protein powder, dextrose, creatine, small scoop of nestle powder.

SoCal 05-21-2012 12:42 PM

Lean Pro Matrix from Nutrition Zone.

You're taking a creatine supplement on top of C4? C4 already has tons of creatine in it.

Also, the little bottle on the top of your stack is designed for women. Just saying...

GLN 05-22-2012 12:42 AM

C4 has tons of creatine? Err.. it has 1g of creatine nitrate.. different than 100% CreaPure Micronized Creatine Monohydrate... and for creatine to be effective you should be taking 5-7g of creatine a day.

and not sure if srs about the Oxy being for women...

edit: I forgot to mention, I did the Oxy for a few days but stopped bc I don't think I need to take it just yet... want to get a little more mass on me before I use that.

gfroman 05-22-2012 09:14 AM

Just take multi-vitamins and eat well.

Crabman 07-18-2012 10:15 PM

JACK 3D is the best I found so far but eating well and no diet pop, so hard to give Pop up though.

Terraforce1 07-21-2012 04:54 AM

Just a stack of test and deca ;)

sal 07-21-2012 07:26 AM

I was recommended USN IGF-1 protein powder for post workouts and also picked up Reflex BCAA for pre and post workout to help speed up muscle recovery. I haven't tried the protein yet, but after a really intense shoulder workout yesterday and taking BCAA before and after, I definitely noticed a difference in how sore I am this morning.

I have been using Muscle Pharm Assault for my pre-workout and have liked it so far - great energy boost. Figure it was good to switch up from NO-Explode

After I finish this next tub of NOX, I plan on trying something new as well. Did you feel a big change? I feel like I'm plateau-ing on the BSN product...
