Update on 991 GT3 deliveries So has anyone confirmed what the delay is for the 991 GT3s? I've been recently told that all allocations for the US cars (which I'm part of) have been delayed. If anything production might not even start until extremely late this year (Dec?) or even until Q1 next year with cars now not arriving to US shores until March or thereafter? |
Yes, I have updates. It was a supplier issue. Production is beginning now. I have a deliver of roughly Christmas to the first week in January. Not sure where you are on the list, but it's sooner than you post. |
I've been waiting for US deliveries to start happening since March, I don't want any more delays, haha. Congrats on your purchases guys. I don't know what I'd be doing if I was in your spots... |
There's no GT3 deliverys in Europe eather... |
Yes there are. Here's a picture from my local OPC from a week ago. One demo, the rest are cars to be delivered. Hopefully this will bring your hopes back up! :) ;) http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5486/1...32746b53_b.jpg |

Damn I want a GT3...lucky guys! |
Its an issue with overheating due to the high redline, the Euro cars are being recalled for a fix and this is causing delays. This comes directly from Porsche Rep not my dealer. |
Such a great looking garage ;) That's the first I've heard about the overheating issue, hopefully they have a quick and efficient fix for it. |
My PTS (Riviera Blue) GT3 is schedule for delivery in March. Another PTS at same dealership (Mexico Blue) is due at same time. Porsche says they are running all PTS at the same time. Has anyone heard anything different? |
Guards red looks really sharp on 991. GT3 even better! |

Sorry but watching the video at Paul Ricard Circuit,I got so bored, It took more than 20 laps to catch the Turbo ahead, and the automatic gearbox makes it so boring............I know that I have to evolute to the next generation of automatic cars.........Hope the manual gearboxes keep on going or I will have to keep my cars till they become museum pieces:friendlykick: |

Enrique actually it is a friend in the turbo and and it is a Techart with over 600 HP 850 NM and RSR suspension. then behind I was filming him and rev to 7500 not the max. finally from a track timing he was 3s slower when I push. the car had only 700 miles when I took it on track and the point was to discover better setup. I can tell you it is very fast even compare to cup. a 997 GT2 with slicks could not keep up the tempo. |

Looks great Cole  Hopefully it's not to long of a wait. |
Sapphire Blue Metallic. Just now getting on a boat. End of this month or first of January arrival. My best guess at this point. While I love the GT3, I'm disappointed in the seats. For the most part, this is an interim car until the good parts are ready. Then we do PTS. |
whats up with the seats? no clubsport for us? |
Not anytime soon. You must have missed the posts about that subject. |
i tend to forget horrible subjects.. i feel bad for you us guys |
Total crock of ship |
