Dealer won't /can't tell me what points they will cover in the Carrera GT service

Strange situation - Carrera GT in with Toronto dealer for new battery - I'm going to get it serviced - maybe the larger engine out service.

We ask what points get covered in the service.

They say we don't break it down - they don't have a list.

EH? You must know.

I`m going to call them myself as my PA phoned them, but this don't sound right...?

I mean they must have something scribbled down ... I want to check the list against some of the threads detailing services to see how thorough as service it will be.

Doesn't sound right. If you don't get answers with the manager, for that amount of money, I would be contacting PCNA or Porsche Canada (whomever covers your area)

How can a dealer not know what the service points are on this car or any car, but especially this car?

Exactly. Make some noise - how can they even know what to charge you if they don't know what they're charging for?

Donnie I just had my CGT serviced and that was the first ever oil change since I got the car back in 2006. the car is not driven as it should but below I will list some of the things I did to my car:smilie:

1. Engine Oil and filter change.
2. Battery changed(must do make sure its not charged after acid is added this will kill the battery).
3. Brake oil change.
4. Small items had to be changed like Radiator clamps check picture.
5. checked for leaks
6. Clutch inspection(as good as new)
7. Engine fault list cleared( nothing was found)
8. Coolent added (not changed)

Thats about it for now next trip to the workshop will be in 2 years time:whistle:
