Not exactly a dream garage...but hey....its my first. First things first: I live in NJ....so winters suck. I still enjoy wrenching on my cars in December...so a large gas heater was a must. I went with a Reznor unit and this thing PUMPS!Second, we took down the floors about 1-1.5 inches and then hand laid a new cement floor. It was then epoxied using an industrial grade epoxy. I had them go up the walls 5 inches as well as put a slight angle on the floor, so water would flow toward the driveway (incase I want to wash a car in the garage).
We then painted the whole garage. Light grey sides, white ceiling, and a burnt orange stripe.
Lighting: I HATE dark garages. So we decided to enlist the help of not one but eight fluorescent light (each one is 8 feet long!). Only when buried under the hood of a car is a flashlight needed.
These pics are outdated....but the garage now sports a Lista tool bench and Griots garage shelves/storage.

Before the new shelving arrived:

Key rack:

And no garage is complete without one of these:

Man, that's a great setup! I like the color scheme... maybe you should match the stripe to the Cayman!

Very cool arrangement - washing the car in the garage is a great idea... If you do wash it in there this winter, post some pics.

Wow that is an amazing garage, I really do like it for its simplicity and organization. Is that an amp that you had customised as a key hanger ?

Get a Martini stripe on the Cayman, thank you for sharing. The Audi TT is tastefully modified.
