Hidden Cable boxes, best remote control sensor-extenders?
 
Have the cable box built in to a nice piece of custom furniture in one room and was wondering if there was a good small sensor type of extender for the remote you guys would recommend other then this flying scourer below lol ;)

You will want one of the above, there are different solutions to the 'receiver' portion, the Niles company makes an in-wall version in addition to the little table top guy. But basically you wire the exposed 'receiver' into a hub, which then has IR flashers that get stuck onto the devices you want to control in a hidden location.
