Ferrari F150 (Enzo Successor) officially teased

This are the very first official images of the project F150 (Enzo succssor) posted in the company's official online magazine.

With lots of rumors arround the web it's difficult to know wich are true and which are not. But we're expecting something just epic. As far as we know, Ferrari will use a V12 engine delivering up to 800 hp helped with a F1-derivated KERS system that will deliver near 100 horses. Using the best carbon composites for the monocoque chassis the car shouldn't weight more than 1,350 kilograms. So the specs will be trully amazing.

The weight of this thing will be almost he same as the Enzo. The monocoque is lighter compared with the Enzo, but the overall weight has the problem of the KERS system. Without the KERS I imagine a car with arround 1.150 kg.

A little bit disappointed with the above spec...0-200km will be 7.5s (faster than Enzo 2s), compare with >1000hp monster like Veryon SS(6.7s:oh2:),Agera R(7.5s:spar:) and Venom GT(7s:wall:), F150 may not have absolute superiority to stand on top in the following decade like his bros Enzo:shrug:

But I look forward to see the role of KERS system on both F150 and P1. A performance booster? Or just a "BIG" headlights battery?:dizzy:

I like what I'm seeing.

They made the F70 with handling in mind. Who cares about the Veyron, it get's smoked in every track by everything.

Same for P1...going for downforce for insane handling.

And the enzo is 9.5s 0-200km/h...so the F70 is 7.5s which is the same as Agera R. I think it's pretty good since it has way more downforce.

I took some research on F150 Carbon Monocoque presentation from Ferrari and based on my observations I`ve made some adjustments. I discovered amazing curves under blurry shadows.

What the hell? Are you really trying to compare this to a Veyron or Agera?

I don't care if Ferrari makes this the fastest car on the planet.
I care that it is a better car than the Enzo, and at least a little better looking. I just believe the next model should be superior to the one it replaces.
Biggest power just for the sake of it is meaningless.

Any idea on the cost yet? Performance seems to be pretty comparable to an Agera R in terms of acceleration and weight. Do we know anything about transmission/suspension?

I can't wait to see this thing in action, the performance will just be absurd.

Also, I believe they had to rename the project from F150 to something else, because Ford owns the trademark on F150.

Last prediction about price is about 1.3 million Euros. F150 is internal Ferrari code, not official name for Enzo`s successor.

Im afraid this will be a weird and square looking car like the enzo.
Im hoping for real beauty in design this time.

Some very well informed members on FChat claims that F150 is more rounded and compact compared to Enzo.

My very reliable source in Ferrari says it lapped Fiorano in 1.18s ! That is mighty impressive !!!
For reference, F12 did it in 1.23s, GTO in 1.24s and Enzo in 1.24,9s.
And it weighs 1200kg.

F150 is internal Ferrari code for Enzo successor. Not official name.

... and the codename comes after the 2011 Scuderia F1 car which in turn is in honour of Italy's 150th anniversary. So I'm sorry, no Ford Truck inspiration here, Ford fanboys ;-)

Have you had the chance to see and experience an Enzo in the flesh? Because i agree, the car is not that appealing in images, but my oh my, that changes in the flesh. In my opinion the Enzo is one of the greatest f-cars to grace the planet. It is particular sinister in black. :smilie:

With that said, i really like what i'm seeing in the new car. I'm hoping they have a bit of inspiration from the P4/5 car in there.
