Mercedes ML-63 Correction & Detail This vehicle belongs to a good client of mine who USUALLY gets his cars to me as soon as he aquires them......(lol) but this is what happens when you wait a year and a half(as the saying goes "you can pay me now, or pay me later"). Here is 1.5 years worth of crud and marring, but this story has a happy ending. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3002.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3007.jpg Grill was marred and riddled with hard water spots. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3003.jpg "B" pillars were in need of major correction. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3004.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3009.jpg Interior was dirty as well. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3010.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3011.jpg Started with the interior first as I had no shade at the time the vehicle was brought in to complete the wash. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3014.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3012.jpg I spent a considerable amount of time on small details such as the door jambs, here is some cosmoline and built up dirt. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3015.jpg Agitating. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3018.jpg Following with steam. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3019.jpg Same area after correction. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3020.jpg Thorough wash and clay procedure to follow, speaking of clay there was quite a bit of fallout on the vehicle displayed by the amount on the clay bar. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3021.jpg After the wash was completed,it was time to tackle the hard water etch problem. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3006.jpg Taped up for 50/50 pics. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3027.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3028.jpg Making progress. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3029.jpg Entire window corrected. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3030.jpg As I like to tackle the harder parts of the correction first, I next moved onto the "B" pillars. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3022.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3023.jpg http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3024.jpg Close pic shows amount of marring, I would spend over an hour a side. http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/p...63andM3025.jpg |
