Clear halogen bulbs instead of oem orange
approximate cost $4.99
difficulty 1-10: 2
tools needed: metal file
I would like to apologize for the pics my cameras are damaged so these are taken with the iphone.
I went to my local auto store to get some clear bulbs, I recently put in some HID foglights and hated the orange turn signal bulbs.
First remove your headlights, pretty easy. Instructions are in your owners manual. use the special tool.
the OEM phillips 12496HT bulbs have the notches unequal.
the sylvania 7506LL are across from each other.
all that you need to do is shave off one of the notches using a metal file.
it literally takes a few seconds and your done.
once your done put it into the bulb holder and put it back in place. The bulb on the passenger side is the orange one, the drivers side is the clear one.
It looks so much cleaner now.
