Lambo techies: Will 560 brakes fit on the Superleggera? Hey guys, I need clarification on the title. I want to swap the Superleggera's black calipers with factory yellow ones. There is no stock in my country of yellow calipers, but there is a 560 on the with yellow. Would this be possible as a direct bolt on? Or are they different systems? Thanks! |
Best bet is to check the caliper part numbers at your dealership. If they are the same, then the answer is yes. |
I am taking a big guess that the calipers are NOT the same, because I've heard that the 560 CCB system is a lot smoother and improved from the SL. I don't know if it's due to the caliper or the rotor, though. And even if they are different, that does not mean they aren't interchangeable. So basically I did not help at all. Good luck! |
Why not just have the calipers painted yellow? |
I dont know... But maybe I can tell you if we can see some PICS!!! |

Hot damn... That looks awesome Mike! |
looks great, Mike. Black SLs are delicious. |
Thanks guys, I think the yellow calipers would be the finishing touch. I like the fact that it's "stealthy" at the moment, but the yellow would contrast lovely against the dark wheels. |
