Aston's 750bhp One-77 - pics (Autocar) The Aston Martin One-77 is pictured here in its final stages of development near the Nurburgring. The One-77, just 77 of which will be made costing in excess of £1.2million each, will be powered by the world's most powerful normally aspirated production engine when deliveries start early next year. Its 7.3-litre, V12 poweprlant will be officially rated at 750bhp and 553lb ft. The One-77 has already become the fastest production Aston ever, eclipsing the Vanquish by recording more than 220mph in testing; 0-60mph is expected to take around 3.5sec. Power is transferred to the road using a beefed-up paddle shift-only Graziano gearbox from the DBS. Features include a carbonfibre monocoque chassis that helps keep the One-77’s weight down to around 1500kg; active aerodynamics also feature. The One-77 rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels wearing Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres. The company is said to have firm deposits for more than half of the production run, with "serious expressions of interest" that will cover more than the remainder. http://cdn.images.autocar.co.uk/612x...61600x1060.jpg http://cdn.images.autocar.co.uk/612x...91600x1060.jpg http://cdn.images.autocar.co.uk/612x...71600x1060.jpg http://cdn.images.autocar.co.uk/612x...11600x1060.jpg http://cdn.images.autocar.co.uk/612x...81600x1060.jpg SOURCE:http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsAr...llCars/253395/ |

I'm thrilled that this is finally coming to market. As rare a car as it is, I hope there are some enthusiasts who are taking delivery who will actually post pics and videos online for the rest of us to enjoy since not many normal car folks are likely to ever see one. Or... I'd be quite joyous if Top Gear reviewed one. |
BLACK is the color for this car... wow thats stunning! |
