Photoshoot: R8 by the Bay

I had the opportunity to shoot a friend's Audi R8 5.2 FSI along beautiful Sarasota Bay right before the new year. It was a chance for me to end 2011 on a great note and look toward 2012 with open eyes.

This particular R8 was modified with ART Racing performance exhaust and it sounds lovely.

Enjoy the photos

Peter

I've got to agree; the R8 is one of the most beautiful cars out there. No need to put stickers on it.

Great shots. The ART decal looks like something johnsgt would put on his cars with pinstripes.

Possibly. I haven't see the dyno sheet yet

ART is a local shop and the R8's owner is friends with them so I'm sure it's just a friendly promo. They said that's the only spot on the whole car, besides the windows, that the decal would fit properly and look halfway decent.

Looks great! What's the significance of the decal?

Looks good Pete, nice spot for pictures. Next time try to angle the car so the sun gives you some more light to work with, especially noticeable in the first two shots.

I tried. There was a huge building just to the left and poles/trees just to the right.

I'm planning on going back with the sun in a different spot and trying another car.

Thanks for the comments!
