No need. They dull the display and don't do anything. 2 iPhone without protectors, and no problem.

Yup I have owned all the generations, now the 4s and I have always found them to be BS.

How is that happening? I put mine in my pocket, or belt clip when at work. Make sure you don't have your keys and such in the same pocket and it should be fine.

I have one just because of the reason teutonic said you need one. I am a dumbass and always forget which pocket i put my keys in and it is inevitable that I will eventually scratch the screen on my keys so I have a protector to keep it scratch free
