Q5 2.0T vs 3.2L Dyno Comparison

Hey everyone,

I was looking through the testing data we collected during our Audi Q5 2.0T and 3.2L Exhaust Development and thought you would find this interesting.

Below you’ll find a dyno overlay showing a completely stock Q5 2.0T vs a complete stock Q5 3.2L.

What motor do you prefer?

looking at those curves 3.2L >>> 2.0T

the torque curve is much flatter which makes for smooth linear power

the 2.0T peaks early and dies out after 5k

I like the fatter curve of the stock 3.2L. But love the extra ft/lbs of torques and tune ability of the 2.0T. Also 2.0T gets better gas mileage.
