Cool Suggestions for a wireless external hard drive for MacBook?

I am looking to pick up some extra storage for my personal MacBook at home.... Any suggestions for a solid external hard drive set up? I would prefer wireless...

Thanks!

I've never used (or even heard of, for that matter) a wireless hard drive. Though you can plug in any hd into an airport extreme and it becomes wireless. If you want reliable storage, I would look into a Drobo.

For my Apple setup, I have a 1TB Time Capsule...works great (and of course is wireless).

Get a Time Capsule from an Apple Store. It is wireless, and serves as a wifi router as well.

Time Capsule works great, though you could also use just about anyone's NAS/SAN solution if it has to move data over your wireless network.

Significant performance advantages would be had with an external firewire drive.

This. I would actually recommend a different network storage solution than the time capsule.

The time capsule is pretty slow as far as wireless data transfer goes. The time capsule and airport extreme/express are also pretty slow when writing to a USB external. A good ethernet NAS drive plugged into an airport extreme will give the best performance and more expandability options than a time capsule. You could also go with a drobo if you need a lot of upgradability and redundancy, however the drobos tend to be pretty slow.
