Yamaha teams unveil special Laguna livery

Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi were both present at the Laguna Seca circuit on Thursday for the unveiling of a special new livery on each of their Fiat Yamaha YZR-M1 bikes, which is being used to celebrate the impending release of the Fiat 500 car in the United States.


Fans were asked to submit their photos with 500 spaces available on each of Rossi’s and Lorenzo’s bikes, and needless to say the response was rapid – the Italian’s M1 was filled within 15 minutes! Both will now display the new look at this weekend’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.


Joining them with new-look bikes for the occasion will be Monster Yamaha Tech 3 pair Ben Spies and Colin Edwards. The duo, riding in their home GP, will have special ‘Team Texas’ liveries as well as unique leathers.
