What are the classes in TT racing?

are they showroom stock?

what are the benefits of competing here, over say SBK?

 

Superbike - 1000cc bikes with the works (built engines, top shelf brakes, swingarms, slick tires, etc)

Superstock - 1000cc bikes with minimal changes (stock engine, brakes, DOT race tires)

Supersport - 600cc bikes with minimal changes (stock engine, brakes, DOT race tires)

Sidecar - 600cc, 2 man rocket ships

Zero - Electric powered bikes


The benefits? It's hands down the hardest and most respected race in the World. If you win there, you have nothing to prove to anyone. WSBK and MotoGP are child's play in comparison.

 

IOM TT is like no other race on earth...

The craziest fuggers are those nuts on the sidecars. I so want one...

Best bike race on the planet with some of the best riders. There is nothing like bike racing as it is all about the rider of course bikes are amazing but this is truly man and machine.
