Techart Hardtop for Turbo Cab (997)

Anyone have one?

Anyone have "real life" pictures? The ones online of the Techart hardtop are all touched up artsy pics - I want to see what it looks like in person.

Also - anyone know if Techart is making center lock wheels?

Am considering putting a techart body kit on my Turbo S before I bring her home - mistake? Are there other body kits which are as well made and look as seemless with the design I should consider?

Thanks,

asg

If you go with any exterior modifications to your car, I would go with RUF. By far the best quality, just as good as the factory fitment.

My reasoning for this is, is at any auto show(Geneva/Frankfurt) I could always see the gaps in the Techart body kits.

Just my two cents.

I saw the launch pics of the Techart hardtop, but seen nothing on a car since...

I have been asking the same question about the centre locks, as i want to replace the ones on my S when it comes, but been told by the UK distributor that there's nothing available yet. I'd be surprised if there isn't something from them soon though.

My S is due to be completed this week, can't wait, these sunny days are killing me !!!

TechArt has some good designs, but somehow the Ruf pieces are more appealing . . . perhaps more of a clean "Porsche-might-have-done-it-this-way" look. TA is a bit more ostentatious, Ruf a touch more clean and restrained.
