2010 Alpina B3 S Biturbo

Alpina has extracted 400 hp from a twin turbocharged version of the 3 liter inline-6, while the body sports a new spoiler and rear valence. Other features include numerous interior upgrades and enhanced suspension.

I believe this is the twin-turbo 6. I'm sure Alpina will do you up a manual version if you would like.

i don't know much about alpina, but is there any reason someone would actually get this over an m3?

^ Much more useable powerband, more exclusive, available AWD, and appearantly wagon platform.

Lighter also, am I right? I'm pretty sure the powerplant is lighter, in any case. And clearly, you can have M3 power with the right tuning.

you'll be surprised by their ability performance
I remember the supercharged Alpina based of 645i used to be neck to neck with the M6 performance wise.

I don't think Alpina ever makes a manny gearbox nowadays. They autoboxed the Z8 (travesty), put weird steering wheel mounted buttons on the M6, and now this. Yuck.

I'd go for it if they promise to only touch the engine. Definitely not a fan of the aesthetic differences, and the badges on the back are just ridiculous. Too much going on for my taste.
