PDK Clutch Upgrade from Champion Motorsport ( Updated )

Ts,
Its been just over a week since we posted about our PDK clutch upgrade and we are very pleased to be the first tuner to show the world what the inside of a PDK gearbox looks like. Our fabrication director is starting on the assembly process as we speak. We will keep you posted after further testing. I hope you guys enjoy.

Our fabrication team built this stand for the PDK gear box in order to minimize fluid lose. It certainly did the trick

Here's a photo of everything layed out for assembly. Pay close attention to whats up the white towel on the left side of the photo =) That lets all of the Magic happen. Thanks Louie

When upgrading the VTG turbos we ran into a clutch issue ( slipping ) and decided to develop an upgraded clutch for higher horsepower and torque applications.

Wide open transmissions, layers of clutch plates, pure autopr0n...

I was wondering, at about how much torque/power did the PDK transmission's clutch start slipping?

wow. suprised the oem clutch discs are slipping that quickly with upgrades. Is there any programing changes that can be made to the torque holding capacities of the clutches? I know this can be done on the GT-R and M3 Dual clutch trans. I look forward to seeing what you guys can do!
