Bye bye ugly and unreliable GTR! Porsche is really back in business with the 997.2 models. They have ALL, from the Carrera to the GT3 RS (and so will the GT2 RS), become so damn good cars. They are the benchmark cars in so many segments.

The fact that a new 997.2 911Turbo is being compared to a Nissan, is such a compliment to Nissan and the teams who worked on this new GTR. The new Turbo is just too good with PDK...I love it! Great post, thank you.

^ +1... Alot of people don't look at it that way but they should. I love Porsche but Nissan did a damn fine job.

Definitely, a R8 V10 would be faster,especially at higher speed since GTR has ridiculous short gearing which is optimized for acceleration rather than top speed. That's why GTR is so fast from a standing still to about 150kms.
