Canadian Stage II & TechArt Type 1 Project @ SharkWerks
#1
Hey folks this week we've been working on a pristine meteor gray 2008 997 TT Cabriolet for a customer in Canada. On tap is the full TechArt Type 1 AeroKit, the EVOMSit software, EVO BRV's, a TechArt Exhaust (with tips of course) along with some HRE Monoblok's.
There she is on the lift:

The first thing is to tune/calibrate the ECU with the EVOMSit stage II software for more power and improved throttle response:

For increased boost and longevity we upgrade the boost recirculation valves as well. The stock BRV's are pretty easy to access:

On goes the EVOMS BRV kit (in black):

Off with that quiet and heavy stock exhaust system:

Installing the more free-flowing TechArt unit (also slightly lighter). The sound provides a deeper growl-like tone with minimal drone:

On goes the rear bumper along with the TechArt Type 1 rear diffuser kit, which gives additional depth and hides the exhaust can:

A side view and now with the TechArt tail pipes (in black) also installed:

Fully-buttoned up and with the additional TechArt Type 1 rear wing in the "up" position:

Over to the front of the body... Off comes the stock lip:

On goes the TechArt Type 1 front aerokit:

The HRE Monoblok P40's are finished in "textured black" powder coat and in 19-inch are all ready to be installed. The tires and TPMS sensors were transferred over from the stock wheels.

The TechArt Type 1 side skirt kit requires about 24 hours to "set":

James about to go on a test drive:

Finished (for now!):

She's not finished yet as the interior will undergo a full MACarbon make-over shortly along with a splash of TechArt:P
