Thumbs up 997.2 Turbo S VIN number

Got my VIN number today. No confirmation of build date yet but was week 23 last I heard. Been a long wait considering I paid to join the waiting list for this car in February 2008. Actual delivery date not yet confirmed but looking like September.

Ice Blue with blue/black interior. I think it will be an unreal combination.

Nice! Can't wait to see the new deviated interiors, black and blue would be my choice.

It's kinda BMW Z3/M Coupe-ish. I dig it!

How is it possible they gave you a VIN for a car that doesn't exist?!! (meaning not built)

Are you sure it isn't your REFERENCE number? Or do you know Hanz over in Germany? LOL

Must be my German ancestry

Does the reference number start with a B? The dealer used that number to look up the order details. That's when he gave me the VIN No.

LOL

No, but then again I'm used to looking at reference numbers for the US. So for you it might be different.

If he gave you a VIN number, you're closer to having your car then you think.

If you have the VIN that car is built. We were told in the US production starts in May. I have a May cab and a June coupe ordered for clients.
