Shocking Barack
Some friends of my agency are embarking on a pretty epic journey -which they've dubbed "Shocking Barack". The guys from Brammo wave developed these fully battery-powered motor bikes (Enertia), and are now on their way to Washington to make a point. They're on the same route the automotive giants took when they went looking for handouts from the government some time back. The difference is, these guys aren't asking for anything - they're providing something. The idea is to give Barack his own Brammo motorcycle - to prove that the future of transportation is happening right here in the states - and it's not government funded, demanding or needy in any way. It offers jobs for the future and the prospect of a better world. Seriously.
They've got literally no budget and relying fully on friendly people along the way, who can provide either a small bed or a wall socket.
You can follow then online at: Shocking Barack - Brammo. It's a great story, a great initiative and some incredible people, and they need the attention so please spread the word.
(Don't have any economic interest in the venture - they're just friends of friends and seem to be doing something really admirable)

^That is pretty cool. Will anyone really pay attention? Probably not. Why? Because big money makes the world go 'round. It keeps politicians in power and keeps things that truly need to happen from gaining enough speed to go forward.... My $0.02.
Either way, that is still pretty awesome.
