Can you recommend something for using an iPod on overseas flights? I'm going to be doing a bit of traveling in March and will need something that works well with an iPod and has the "sound deadening" features to drown out the noise inside an airplane.

All of the in-ear earphones we carry will be great for traveling. What is your budget and type of music you listen to?

V-Moda is more of a design focused company over the sound quality, they are still going to be a good step up from stock buds but at normal retail prices, there are other earphones I would recommend.

Some hip hop, mellow house and trance, alternative + classic rock and some middle eastern music. I'm all over the place. Basically everything except country, metal and elevator music

Budget, lets say $100 give or take 20.

I would say the Shure SE110/SE210. The Ultimate Ears super.fi 3's have also been popular but they are a little harder to get a good seal on.

If you really like bass, the Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 EB or Future Sonics M5/M8 would be a great option.

What is an upgrade to say a good Bose in-ear airplane use, sticky, comfy headphone? How clear was that?

Not too crazy about loud bass, I'm ok with something more typical. super.fi 3 and SE110s look to be about the same price. Any particular reason to choose one over the other? Also, what about the 210 would make it worthwhile over the other two, considering it's nearly twice the price?
