Here are a couple vids of one of my best friends. We started out as guitar teacher/student. He is what he calls a "reformed" shredder. The guy has Satriani like chops, but he's all about inflicting guitar upon electronica; and he does it really damn well.

He lets me tag along to his shows just because I've got a Peterson strobe tuner, and he needs a cheap guitar tech...
