SL55 Question

Can someone tell me exactly what is the “rest” button I have in my SL55?

As soon as I turn the engine off and remove the key from the ignition, that is when I have access to the button, otherwise it won’t work while I am driving. It’s just air coming from the ac vents, not even cold air, and I can’t control the ac speed as well.

Any one knows what the “rest” button does?

Thanks!

The rest button is for keeping your car warm while you are out and It uses the heat from your engine to keep the car warm. It just uses the secondary vacuum pump to do so.

Residual engine heat is used to warm outside air and keep the cabin temp the same for 30 minutes. Probably worthless is Bahrain, 'eh? Super bitchin excellent in Wisconsin though!

Yeah its going to be useless here! I'm going to try it out this winter, gets quite cold here (between 10C-15C; which is cold for us!), not as cold as the weather in Wisconsin though!!
Thanks both you :)

It uses the heat from your engine to keep the car warm by using the secondary vacuum pump. Useful in cold temperatures when you have to leave your vehicle for a short period of time. I think it is approximately 15 min.
