So i just registered for AMG's Performance Driving Event at the Old Bridge Raceway in Old Bridge New Jersey. The event is a 3 day event and I am registered for a driving slot at 1pm on saturday may 15th. They will have the new E63 and a C63 available for driving for one hour per registered participant.

Are any other Teamspeeders attending? Have any of you guys been to any of these events? What are they like, and what should I expect?

How much is it and where can I register?

 

I was at one of these at Homestead in early '09. Very cool event - they had Tommy Kendall and John Andretti as instructors.

 

I went to one (2007) in CA (Ontario Race Way) 4 star event all day. Fantastic ppl, and awesome getting the cars in a more natural environment- on the track.

its by invitation if your an AMG owner and its also free, i assume u can register and pay a fee

 

i signed up for gulfstream on next saturday, should be fun, whats it entail

 

So it is not the AMG driving Academy?

 

no the driving academy is like any other race course, which would entail full day or multi day instruction and would also cost money, this is free only lasts for an hour and is positioned a more of a marketing ploy to get AMG owners into the new AMG cars
