Spied: 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo testing again

It seems Porsche has given up the cold weather testing in Sweden for this season and has transported the prototypes back to Germany for some serious high speed testing on the Nürburgring and the Autobahn. And this time our Teamspeed spies snapped the new 911 Turbo again. With its wider fenders, air intakes in the rear fenders to cool down the intercoolers and the rear bumper with integrated exhaustpipes it differs from the normal 911 prototypes we have seen for years now.

This one screams for speed, high speed. And with an expected power about 600 horsepower this new Turbo will deliver more speed then most of us can handle. Stay tuned for more developments soon!

Great pics. I like the nicely sculpted wide hips and air intakes. I'm really excited to see the new 911 unveiled. Just can't stand the side mirrors...why can't they look like the old ones?

2 more shots added to OP, surprised not to see it with a huge camo wing like they did the 997 Turbo Mules but reast assured there will be a form of a turbo wing as well on the 991 (or 998) Trubo's.

I remember reading somewhere that it has to do with aero. In the old position they create more turbulence and noise than they do in this newer position... something like that.

I'll take one please...

Don't think it will be this wide though, as the fenders are bolted on.

In my opinion, though it looks longer, overall it looks pretty small compared to most cars today.

It even looks more petite than the 997. I suspect maybe it's just the fantastic looking bulgy fenders. Oh, and the camo.

Looks like the body is too big for the chassis. Also kinda reminds me of the cayman
