I was having some routine maintenance done on my B55 on Saturday at Brabus in Irvine. Sitting in their showroom was one of the cleanest Turbos I have ever seen. It is a brand new, 2009 997TT with one of the best option packages I have ever seen. Honestly, the car is almost perfect. The car is at Brabus to get a full Techart body kit and exhaust tips and then will spend a few weeks on display on the floor at Newport Beach Porsche before the owner comes and picks it up. My buddy Andreas pulled it outside and let my son snap some pictures of it for TS.

I will follow this up with some pictures of the final product with the Techart body kit installed. Should be an interesting project to watch come together. Enjoy the pics!

Yeah. That's why I said "almost perfect." I don't know what gets into people. The owner isn't getting any engine modifications either. The Techart body kit is pretty expensive to get no performance increase. I would start with performance and then go cosmetic.

The car is still one of the best I have seen aesthetically.

 

That really is a great looking Turbo. One of my favorites ever!
