I absolutely love everything about it, except the price. $240k WTF!!!!!!! |
I saw it this morning on Autoblog, but haven't been able to post here until now. I think Porsche is using this as a "test piece" to see what happens if they go retro (kind of any oxymoron with Porsche and 911s...). It's possible we'll see the ducktail, "fuchs", etc. as options in the next car. I'd spec my next-gen 911 that way - it looks amazing. |
Well I believe the double bubble roof will be on the next generation 911 as well. |
it actually starts at : 201 682,00 Euro = 287 296,009 US-Dollar a bit too much... but people would stand in line for it anyway |
Well it looks like the spy picture we saw earlier with the covered tail is not the new 998 after all. I am just surprised why they did not follow the retro look all the way and moved the side mirrors on the doors as well. By coming back to the round head lights with the 997 Porsche started the return to the retro look of the 993. I am sure we will see a lot of options that will take shape of the old Porsches. I would love to see the whale tale again! The GT3 rear bumper along with the round tale pipes are amazing. Too bad it comes in one color. Porsche should have at least made a choice of two colors. I am also surprised it won't sell in the US. |
I am in love!!!!! Everything about it is so stylish and unique! |
I want, nay... NEED this in my life. |
Love the concept, but give me a 997.2 GT3RS or GT2 anyday for that price. |
Hmmm, a new 997TT is what, about $140K, 800BHP for another $30K, leaves a $100K to have a one-off made body kit, interior and paint job done by any of the premier tuners of your choice. It is not THAT good, it is still just a 997S. |
