Sounds like the exhuast flapper mod on the VW R32. Its just a vacuum line that actuates the exhaust flap. I would tape up the holes as well as pluging the line with golf tee, etc.

Maybe it's the recording, but it sounds similar to most stock 430 Scuds and 458's I've heard...

+1 one of the techs at Ferrari Denver showed me this on a CS several years ago. Sounds great though :D

The problem with doing this, is that there is a severe drone when cruising. Otherwise, I think that it really adds some much needed noise down low.

Wow! Both of these cars are mine.

This was taken last year at Turn 5 at Road America and then later on Saturday night in Elkhart Lake.

We had a blast! We'll be back there again this year at Turn 5 and for the Concours event on Saturday night.
