The Art Of Horacio Pagani

Quite possibly the world’s finest bespoke supercar manufacturer, Teamspeed.com members pay tribute to Horacio Pagani with an incredible collection of images, video, and information showcasing his finest works. Pagani comes from a line of Argentinian bakers. From a young age he enjoyed designing cars out of balsa wood, the designs of which can now be seen in the Pagani showroom. In 1983 he moved to Italy in order to pursue his dream of building a supercar. At the age of 20, Pagani had designed and built his first F3 racer.

Pagani’s first experience with the automobile industry was with Lamborghini who he worked for as a composite specialist in the 80’s. In 1991, he broke away from the company and founded his own consultancy called Modena Design who continue to make carbon fiber composites for Formula One cars and clients like Daimler, Ferrari and Aprilia.

Pagani Automobili Modena was founded by Pagani in 1992. The first car he produced was the Zonda which took seven years to complete and here we are today in paying tribute to the bespoke supercar maker in a tribute thread aptly titled “The art of Horacio Pagani”.
