Teamspeed Spies Catch VW’s 235-mpg XL1
The production version of Volkswagens XL1 was spotted during hot weather testing today, and we’re happy to show you some photos of the 235-mpg car. The XL1 will have two power sources. One is a small two-cylinder turbo diesel delivering 50hp, while the other is a 30hp-strong electric motor. Both units deliver power to the rear wheels via a 7-speed DSG transmission.
